Hello! When I was just a sprout, my big sister couldn’t pronounce my full name (Makenzie) so she called me MAKIE, and it’s been with me ever since. I grew up on a horse farm in Southern Minnesota and made my way to the deep south (Atlanta, Georgia) via Utah, Japan, New York, and Los Angeles.
