MAKIE’s GODDESS EP celebrates the strength, resilience, and spirit of women. The title track, “Artemis,” written for her daughter, stands as both a personal dedication and a universal anthem for women everywhere.

The EP continues with “Magic,” written for the film SUNNY DAZE, which tells the story of a man who seemingly had it all, lost everything, and ultimately finds himself again. (Watch the video above.)

“Sweetwater” shares the haunting story of a young female pioneer who lost her life in the freezing Sweetwater River near Martins Cove along the western trail. MAKIE was moved to write the song after a powerful, personal experience at the site.

The EP closes with “Resurrection,” an intense, cinematic journey that explores longing, transformation, and the deep desire to come back to life.

“This EP came from a season of deep reflection,” MAKIE shares. “Each song holds a different expression of strength—resilience, hope, grief, and rebirth. ‘GODDESS’ is my reminder to honor the sacred strength we carry, especially as women.”
